Recipes makes 6 Paletas, you need:

flesh of 2 ripe avocados

3/4 cup (60g / 2.1oz) raw cacao

1 cup (240ml / 8.1 fl oz) – 1 1/4 cups (300ml / 10.1 fl oz) milk of your choice

1/2 cup (120ml / 4 fl oz) maple syrup

1 tsp vanilla paste

2 tsp ground cinnamon

pinch of salt

1. Place all the ingredients into a blender, starting with 1 cup of milk. Blend until smooth, adding a little more milk if the mixture is too thick. It should be about the texture of chocolate mousse.

2. Pour the mixture into icy-pole moulds and tap the moulds vigorously on the benchtop until all the air bubbles rise to the surface. Insert sticks into the middles of the moulds and put the paletas in the freezer to freeze overnight.
